Job Description

Journal of the Academy of Business and Emerging Markets (JABEM) — a peer-reviewed, Open Access, and free — interdisciplinary journal has seen consistent growth for the last few years as evidenced by increased no of submissions, citations and special issues edited by eminent professors. To manage balanced growth and representation in emerging markets, JABEM invites applications for the role of associate editor for a 3-year renewable term. It's a voluntary position.

The associate editors work closely with EIC in developing the papers, handling special issues, and increasing journal's reach, as well as indexing and internationalization. JABEM (ISSN: 2563-6960, OCLC: 1225506645) is currently indexed in DOAJ, Ulrich's directory, WorldCat, ERIH+, Dimensions, Sherpa Romeo, Google Scholar, among others and archived in Library and Archives Canada at https://epe.lac-bac.gc.ca/100/201/300/jabem/index.html. The Journal details are at https://www.abem.ca/journal or https://doaj.org/toc/2563-6960.

If interested, please apply with your resume and a short note of how you plan to contribute to the Journal's development. Preference will be given to scholars interested in emerging market issues or those based in developing countries, emerging markets, or islands. Application should be sent to jabem@abem.ca by May 30, 2024.
